Reporting to the global compensation director, the successful candidate will actively participate in the design, improvement and implementation of global remuneration policies and programs. In addition, they will support a team of HR generalists in one of our divisions. The job is based in Valcourt, and requires presence on site 3 days a week. YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Actively participate in identifying, developing, and implementing policies, programs, processes and work tools related to comprehensive remuneration to ensure sound governance. Act as an advisor to the HRBPs and management on all matters relating to global remuneration. Manage the annual salary review exercise as well as variable pay programs. Perform various cost analyses based on financial results and budgets to ensure that remuneration programs are effective. Participate in compensation surveys by collecting and analyzing market salary data to determine the company's competitive position. Prepare top quality presentations for management, HR stakeholders, or employees. Participate in developing communication materials and remuneration training. Participate in various projects to improve the employee experience. Monitor innovative global remuneration practices internationally. YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, actuarial science or a similar field. Five (5) or more years of experience in the area of compensation. Consulting experience would be an asset. Knowledge of compensation in an international context. Experience in the design and implementation of various comprehensive compensation programs (job evaluation system, salary structures, variable pay plans, etc.) Rigorous with proven time management and prioritization skills, with a client oriented mindset. Experience with an integrated HR system. SAP/Success Factors would be an asset. Leadership skills and strong capacity to influence stakeholders. Advanced skills in Excel and solid skills in Powerpoint.
