Mecademic, a leading robotics firm, is expanding its presence in the US and seeks an experienced Regional Sales Director to drive business development and sales efforts in the Midwest region.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader with expertise in large account management and a proven track record in automation sales. You'll be instrumental in driving growth across the Midwest, managing key accounts, and establishing long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead business development and sales efforts in the assigned region, focusing on large accounts and high-value partnerships
  2. Achieve and exceed sales quotas in the assigned region (this is a commission-based position)
  3. Collaborate with end-customers for validation, testing, and prototyping
  4. Engage with OEM's (machine builders) to integrate our technologies for scaled-up production
  5. Work closely with partners and key decision-makers
  6. Utilize CRM tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities effectively
  7. Contribute to building a larger business presence and market share in the US

About the Ideal Candidate:

You should have extensive experience in sales, channel and large account management, as well as technical knowledge of robots or automation systems. Familiarity with the industrial and manufacturing landscape of the Midwest is also essential.

Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per year
