Job Title: Business Solutions Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Analyst to join our team at Hastha Solutions. As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation, including functional requirements and business process changes.
  • Consult with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, to drive outcomes and negotiate agreements.
  • Manage deliverables independently against rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Develop strategies for continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of business analysis work.
  • Lead the articulation of business requirements and facilitation of business and system solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, including implementation plans, requirement gathering, specifications, change management, user acceptance testing, and training.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong business analysis skills and experience in detailed analysis and understanding of functional requirements and business process documentation.
  • Experience in customer experience and human-centered design thinking, particularly with customer profiling and journey mapping.
  • Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, and driving outcomes within acceptable costs and timelines.
  • Ability to distill business needs to identify fit-for-purpose options.
  • Keeping across changing technologies, business processes, and industry best practices.
  • Extensive experience in using Atlassian tool sets, including JIRA, Confluence, and Portfolio.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and success with meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities as well as good negotiation skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to achieve successful outcomes through collaborative and cooperative means.
  • Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the project, its environments, and related issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within tight project timeframes.
  • Very good communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience working in the Government sector.
  • Previous experience with other Justice Sector Agencies.
  • Qualifications in a relevant area and/or demonstrated professional experience in an equivalent role.
  • Previous experience with software integration or application development.

This is a 9-month contract with possible extension. Eligibility: Australian/NZ Citizens/PR Holders only.
