Job Title: Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Hastha Solutions. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze business intentions, services, processes, and information needs to identify and document changes for business solutions and enhancements.
  • Consult and negotiate with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, to drive outcomes within acceptable costs and timelines.
  • Manage deliverables independently against rapidly shifting priorities to respond to internal and external demands.
  • Undertake discovery work with stakeholders to identify gaps and challenges with the current service delivery.
  • Contribute to customer insights reports and journey maps as well as solution design deliverables with the Project Team.
  • Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of all aspects of business analysis work using relevant frameworks.
  • Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and risks/issues management to define business requirements and trends.
  • Lead the articulation of business requirements and facilitation of business and system solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans to facilitate the successful achievement of business initiatives and strategic goals.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Business analysis skills and experience in detailed analysis and understanding of functional requirements and business process documentation.
  • Strong experience in customer experience and human-centered design thinking, particularly with customer profiling and journey mapping work.
  • Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, and driving outcomes within acceptable costs and timelines.
  • Distilling business needs to identify fit-for-purpose options.
  • Keeping across changing technologies, business processes, and industry best practices.
  • Managing deliverables independently against rapidly shifting priorities to respond to internal and external demands.
  • Extensive experience in using Atlassian tool sets, including JIRA, Confluence, and Portfolio.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and success with meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities as well as good negotiation skills and business acumen.
  • An understanding of Testing Methodology and processes with working experience in Waterfall and Agile methodology.
  • Ability to achieve successful outcomes through collaborative and cooperative means.
  • Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the project, its environments, and related issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within tight project timeframes.
  • Very good communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience working in the Government sector.
  • Previous experience with other Justice Sector Agencies.
  • Qualifications in a relevant area and/or demonstrated professional experience in an equivalent role.
  • Previous experience with software integration or application development.
