Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Worker to join our team at BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services in Coquitlam, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and evaluate psychosocial rehabilitative programs to address the assessed needs of patients.
- Work collaboratively with the inter-professional team to develop individualized rehabilitative treatment plans.
- Complete rehabilitation assessments and document patient progress.
- Participate in the development of new program curricula and standards.
- Maintain work area and equipment.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized recreational, rehabilitation or related health or human services program.
- Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid Food Safe Certificate.
- Valid Class 4 BC Driver's License.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Awareness of and commitment to learning and understanding the Truth & Reconciliation Commission's 94 Calls to Action.
