Customer Service Representative

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Broker to join our team at OTIP RAEO. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide product and service information to members, resolving any issues or concerns they may have.
- Assess risks for automobile and property policies, ensuring that our members receive the best possible coverage.
- Process changes to policies, applying underwriting standards and assessing risks according to binding requirements.
- Resolve product and service problems, clarifying member complaints and determining the best solution.
- Attract potential members by answering questions and providing information about our products and services.
- Process rewrites and remarkets, following established new-business guidelines.
- File and document records of insurance transactions, maintaining and updating current rate manuals for all markets.
- Maintain a comprehensive log and diary system, reviewing and flagging contentious issues for discussion with management.
Requirements
- RIBO and/or AIC license is required; candidates without a license will be enrolled in the RIBO training course and required to obtain their license within the first three months of employment.
- Hybrid work model.
- Completion of or commitment to complete the following three insurance courses: CIP Principles and Practice, Property 1, and Automobile.
- Experience in personal lines automobile and property insurance is an asset.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
