About the Role

The Director of Contact + is responsible for maintaining daily operations and providing strategic vision for the overall Contact+ department. This includes leading a team focused on providing excellent customer service, maintaining and building exceptional working relationships with clients, sales, underwriting, and other office personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the annual budget and setting goals for the business unit.
  • Assessing staff training, developing needs, and providing recommendations for training opportunities to build a competent staff capable of performing all functions within the unit.
  • Maintaining relationships with our Insurance providers and the national Federated sales force.
  • Helping staff with front-line underwriting, marketing, and sales of submissions received if needed.
  • Developing marketing programs that can support Federated Insurance's needs.

Requirements

  • Level 3 RIBO License.
  • 10 or more years of Commercial Insurance experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Post-secondary school education.
  • Underwriting experience would be considered an asset.
