Retail Store Supervisor

Lacombe Park Spirits is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to lead our sales team and drive store performance. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for maximizing sales, improving customer experience, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and achieve sales targets
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures to prevent losses
- Authorize return of merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Sell merchandise effectively to customers, promoting products and services that meet their needs
- Prepare detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support to improve performance
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, under pressure to meet sales targets and customer expectations. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift.
Requirements- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in retail or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- A permanent work term with 30 to 40 hours per week, offering opportunities for career growth and development
- A competitive salary range: $35,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
