About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst II to join our Group FP&A team at Intact Financial Corporation.

As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in evaluating the financial performance of our global operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing the weekly group forecast, contributing to the annual planning process, and providing insightful analyses to support senior management's decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the weekly group forecast and participate in the annual budget process.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to gather updates and analyze data to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain key financial and operational metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Support the monthly forecast discussion preparation and assist team members with special projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) is an asset.
