Role Overview

Become a member of the Partner Solutions (PSI) team as a Security Analyst II focused on Cyber Resilience.

Our cyber resilience initiative is designed to assist our partners in managing cyber incidents while also helping Intact mitigate potential impacts and adhere to legal and regulatory reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for Intact partners when they report cyber incidents.
  • Collect essential cyber incident details from partners and act as a liaison among key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the management team; escalate pertinent information as necessary.
  • Collaborate with incident management analysts, compliance and legal professionals, business development leaders, and executives to address cyber incidents involving Intact partners.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of cyber incidents reported by Intact partners; identify lessons learned to contribute to continuous improvement; uphold best practices in cyber resilience.
  • Utilize your cybersecurity knowledge to conduct assessments of Intact partners' cybersecurity posture, practices, and preparedness for cyber threats.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in information security (InfoSec) or information technology (IT).
  • Profound understanding of cybersecurity principles, cyber resilience, and/or cybersecurity governance frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-driven; comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or incident response team, particularly in security monitoring and incident response, is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance sector is beneficial.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required for regular interactions with colleagues nationwide.
  • No Canadian work experience is necessary; however, candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
