HR Generalist Job Description

Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR Manager and USA HR team in various HR operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruitment for production staff, including sourcing, collaborating with managers, and onboarding new employees.
  • Manage shortlisted applicants, coordinate interviews, and complete background checks on selected employees.
  • Present offers to candidates, collect onboarding paperwork, and ensure completion of WSIB training and H&S for all new employees.
  • Employee Relations for production employees, including management, to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Health & Safety initiatives to ensure compliance and coordination of new hire training.
  • Prepare recognition communications and ensure up-to-date employee files.
  • Engage with new HR programs and communicate with bilingual employees at production level across Canada.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual French/English to communicate with French employees.
  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, with experience hiring production staff members.
  • University or College Education, preferably within an HR focused course.
  • Strong understanding of Ontario employment laws and best practices.
  • Ability to multi-task, work closely with management, and communicate effectively.
  • CHRP/CHRL designation.

This is a hybrid role working 3 days remote.
