About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Trauma-Focused Therapist to join our team in Downtown Vancouver and Coquitlam locations. As a Senior Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as EFT, DBT, EMDR, SE, IFS, and AEDP;
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs;
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients;
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment strategies;
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes;
Requirements
  • Professional registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association, or regulatory college (BC College of Social Workers);
  • Ability to provide services in-person at our Downtown and/or Coquitlam office, with a blend of virtual and in-person sessions;
  • Availability to work some evening and/or weekend shifts;
  • Post-graduate counselling experience with clients from diverse backgrounds;
  • Professional training in EFT, DBT, EMDR, SE, IFS, and AEDP;
  • Fluency and counselling proficiency in a second language;
  • Willingness to support clients through ICBC, CVAP, and private pay;
  • Experience and training in couples and family therapy;
  • Access to Jane app software;
  • Flexible schedule;
  • Ambitious compensation package up to $85,000 per year depending on experience.
