About the Role

The Industrial Property Portfolio Manager is a key position at TFI International Inc. responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage real estate assets in accordance with company policies and procedures, within approved budgets.
  • Procurement and Construction: Administer procurement and construction projects, ensuring compliance with building and fire codes.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate repair and maintenance requests to meet budgetary and operational expectations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, submit, and oversee annual operating and capital budget forecasts.
  • Contract Management: Ensure contracts and agreements are executed in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Purchasing and Payments: Prepare purchase orders, obtain quotes, review invoices for accuracy, and process payments.
  • Building Inspections: Perform and document building inspections, priority reports, and variance reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Industrial Property Management Experience: 5+ years in industrial property management.
  • Educational Background: College or university degree in industrial property management, or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong work ethic, team attitude, organizational, tracking, and prioritization skills; ability to interpret site and building plans, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
