The Medical Lead Hospitalist NRGH is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital. As a co-leader, this role will work closely with the Executive Medical Director and other medical leaders to enhance teamwork, facilitate continuous quality improvement, and address matters of physician governance.
Key Responsibilities- Implement processes and structures to engage physicians and staff in continuous quality improvement of service delivery.
- Monitor team budget and performance jointly with the Co-Leader and make course corrections when necessary.
- Act as a change management champion to engage and support physicians and staff through change.
- Lead team activities that advance technology and data use to improve service delivery using the electronic health records (EHR) in collaboration with the Quality Systems team.
- Assess, monitor, and anticipate team resource needs and work with medical leaders and administrative leaders to prioritize these needs within available resources.
