Job Summary

As a Community Health Worker with Northern Health Authority, you will play a vital role in providing home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan. This position requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can assist with activities of daily living, promote maximum independence, and ensure the well-being of individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan
Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene
Promote maximum independence and well-being of individuals and families
Perform delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed

Requirements:

Graduation from a recognized Home Support Attendant/Resident Care Aid Program
Registration with the BC Care Aid & Community Health Worker Registry
Valid Class 5 BC Drivers' License
Certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe
Use of personal vehicle
Or equivalent combination of current education, training, and experience
