Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Lakes District Hospital. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform assessments, plans, and provide personal care, and perform nursing procedures under the direction of the Unit/Program Manager or designate.

Key Responsibilities

Perform assessments and develop plans of care for patients
Provide personal care and perform nursing procedures
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient care goals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, co-workers, and the public
Ability to deal with others effectively and organize work
Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice as currently required by the BCCNM
