Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Donor Engagement Coordinator to join our team at the BC Cancer Foundation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide program coordination and project management support for all initiatives in the donor engagement team, ensuring that deliverables and activities are assigned and progress is monitored.
  • Facilitate the creation of impact reporting, with qualitative and quantitative reporting to donors, in partnership with internal teams.
  • Assess current donor reporting processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and executing process changes.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with relevant Foundation team members and BC Cancer staff to ensure they are clear on deliverables, responsibilities, and timelines.
  • Work in tandem with fundraisers to support donor relationship management via face-to-face, virtual, telephone, and written interactions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant education plus five years of experience in a similar role, preferably working within fundraising, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A willingness to work beyond work hours, evenings as required, and occasional travel throughout the province of B.C.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and regular access to a vehicle.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefit package, including coverage for health, dental, vision, and various paramedical services, as well as participation in the Employee & Family Assistance Program and the Municipal Pension Plan.
