About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Officer to join our team at IDEA. As a key member of our community engagement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage with our community, promote our mission, and secure funding for our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote our mission and programs
  • Secure funding for our programs through grant writing, fundraising events, and donor relations
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and donors
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote our programs and services
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our programs and services

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in community engagement, fundraising, or a related field
  • Proven track record of securing funding for programs and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
