We are seeking an experienced Culinary Professional to join our team as a Cook at Townplace Suites by Marriott Brantford and Conference Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate special events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
- Determine food portion sizes and costs, implementing efficient ordering and inventory management systems.
- Develop and implement menus, estimating food requirements and planning for realization.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining high standards of quality and freshness.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Accommodate guests with food allergies or intolerances, providing tailored menu options.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Order supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Organize buffets and banquets, delivering exceptional presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:

Compensation and Benefits:
