Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Kitchener. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for supporting talent management, advising on compliance, administering workplace programs, and maintaining employee information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support talent management by optimizing recruitment processes and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new staff.
  • Advise stakeholders on compliance with industry workplace standards, providing recommendations and information to managers and employees.
  • Administer and design workplace programs, including learning and development, talent acquisition, employee lifecycle development, employee rewards, and compliance.
  • Support employee-centric programs, including staff performance evaluation, recognition, and development.
  • Maintain and follow up on employee information, preserving data electronically and physically, and following up on filed employee files.
  • Manage branch HR requests, addressing employee relation issues, training, recruitment, and other matters.
Requirements
  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field, with three years of progressive experience in HR.
  • A working understanding of WSIB standards and the ability to administer relevant forms.
  • Membership in the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) and a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation.
  • Proficiency in standard HRIS software, such as Workday, ADP, or Ceridian, and MS Office.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build working relationships with management, employees, and stakeholders.
