Job Title: Construction Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Facilities Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our facilities across the Ontario Line South project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all OTG facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Work closely with construction teams to ensure facilities are properly integrated into the overall project plan.
  • Coordinate the setup, maintenance, and repair of on-site facilities in line with construction schedules.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for all facilities, ensuring equipment, systems, and infrastructure are regularly inspected and maintained.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors responsible for providing maintenance, repair, and facility-related services.
  • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring all expenditures are aligned with project goals and financial constraints.
  • Lead and manage a team to provide guidance, training, and support to ensure all team members are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for facilities-related incidents.
Qualifications:
  • A combination of a bachelor's degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, site management, and the integration of facilities within construction environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team of facilities staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
