**Employee Connection Specialist Job Description**
At DeafBlind Ontario Services, we are seeking an experienced Employee Connection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in strengthening the relationship between employees, their direct supervisors, and their teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for culture and engagement research and leading practices
- Collaborating with senior leaders and departments to build onboarding plans tailored to new hires' roles and objectives
- Gathering employee feedback via various platforms and advising leaders on plan design and execution
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, as well as a strong working knowledge of organizational behavior and employee engagement theory. A university degree or diploma in Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field is required, along with 3-6 years of experience in communications, human resources, or engagement capacity.
