K5 FLOOR & TILE LTD. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to install ceramic tiles, marble, and granite for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with tile installation, measurement, and cutting, as well as excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with tiles
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
- Pack and remove excess grout
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Estimate costs and materials
- Work in a team environment to meet project deadlines
- 1-2 years of experience in tile installation
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically demanding work environment
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling required
- Attention to detail essential
- Accurate and reliable
- Client-focused and team-oriented
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- 40 hours per week
