Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Childcare Educator Specialist to join our team at CELC Lindsay. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with children, families, and community partners to create enriching learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Planning and Implementation: Develop and lead interest-based and play-based activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Active Supervision: Maintain active supervision with children while still being engaged in play.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document children's learning progress through observation, reflection, and research questions.
- Safety and Well-being: Create and maintain an environment that protects the health, safety, and well-being of children.
- Assistance with Daily Tasks: Assist children with diapering, dressing, and eating habits.
- Family Engagement: Foster strong relationships with families and involve them in the learning process.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with coworkers, families, and community partners to create a supportive environment.
- Competitive Salary: $68,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience.
- Mandatory Defined Benefit Pension Plan: 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution.
