Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Jassi Freight Systems Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the operations team, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and coordinating office services.
  • Procedure Review and Evaluation: Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they are effective and efficient.
  • Work Prioritization and Coordination: Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Office Services Coordination: Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Budgeting and Inventory Management: Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Correspondence: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Office Administration: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
