About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team as a Remediation Specialist. As a key member of our Geo-Environmental and Soil Management Team, you will be responsible for managing environmental assessment projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments, remediation, and other associated work in accordance with CSA Standards and Ontario Regulation 153/04 requirements.
  • Develop suitable scope of works for environmental assessment programs to meet project objectives.
  • Oversee fieldwork and prepare reports required to support the filing of Record of Site Conditions.
  • Develop site remediation programs using various insitu, exsitu, and excavation techniques.
  • Provide Qualified Person (QPESA) services for earthwork projects in accordance with Excess Soil Regulation, Ontario Regulation 406/19.
  • Prepare proposal, budget tracking, and cost control.
  • Review and provide senior input on environmental reports prepared by junior staff.
About You
  • 7-10 years of experience in environmental consulting specialized in site remediation, environmental site assessment, and excess soils related projects.
  • University degree in Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineer, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or Geology.
  • Familiarity with Ontario Regulation 153/04 and Record of Site Conditions.
  • Knowledge of remediation systems and techniques.
  • Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
