Project Manager for Environmental Remediation and Site Assessments

Parsons, a leading provider of professional services in the fields of engineering, construction, and technical services, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Environment and Energy Team. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise in environmental site assessments and remediation, and excellent communication skills.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing various environmental and infrastructure projects, including investigations, remediation design, and excess soil planning, investigation, and management. Key responsibilities include:
- Project management and technical support related to environmental and infrastructure projects;
- Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments;
- Remedial design and site remediation oversight, including excavations, ISCO, bioremediation, permeable and impermeable barriers, and mechanical technologies;
- Excess soil and waste management on infrastructure projects;
- Design support of infrastructure projects from a waste/contamination and excess soil perspective;
- Liaising with clients, junior staff, and other project managers;
- Tracking and maintaining budgets and project finances.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with a degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering, or a similar program. A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience at an engineering firm, with strong experience in applicable federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations within a Canadian jurisdiction, is required. The successful candidate will also possess:
- Strong technical knowledge of environmental site assessments, excess soil planning, and various remediation approaches;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Financial literacy from a project management perspective;
- A track record of delivering high-quality work products.
What We Offer:
Parsons offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a defined contribution pension plan, and paid time off.
