Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Alberta Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are working efficiently.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate records.
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all products are properly stocked and displayed.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
  • Permanent work term.
