Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Mirage Landscaping Incorporated is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our landscaping crew, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead and manage a team of landscaping professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive grounds maintenance plans, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the construction of new landscapes, including hardscaping, irrigation systems, and other features.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure necessary materials and equipment to ensure that our team has everything needed to complete tasks.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and suggest improvements to enhance team performance and output.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Create and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Clean Snow and Ice from Walkways and Parking Areas: Ensure that our clients' properties are safe and accessible during inclement weather.
  • Perform Same Duties as Workers Supervised: Demonstrate a willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute to the team's efforts when needed.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 Years of Experience: Proven track record of success in a landscaping or grounds maintenance leadership role.
  • Valid Driver's License: Reliable transportation is essential for this position.
  • Excellent Oral Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Initiative and Team Player: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to collaborate with others.
