Landscaping Manager

Mirage Landscaping Incorporated is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our landscaping crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and other tasks.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for landscaping projects.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and suggest improvements to enhance team performance and output.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Clean Snow and Ice from Walkways and Parking Areas: Ensure safe and accessible walkways and parking areas during winter months.
- Perform Same Duties as Workers Supervised: Demonstrate a willingness to roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team to get the job done.
- Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to use a company vehicle.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Initiative: Show a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- Team Player: Be a collaborative team member, willing to work together to achieve common goals.
