Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Analyst to join our Total Rewards function within HR. The successful candidate will support the implementation of our new Benefits and Pension plans, ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance with legal and fiscal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and make recommendations to improve our benefits offerings, aligning with our organization's philosophy.
  • Support program management for all benefit programs, collaborating with benefits consultants, providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage accurate data for benefits applications, including integration with insurance carriers and pension providers.
  • Audit and track invoices to ensure accuracy and timely approvals and payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop communications and update materials regarding benefits and pension program changes.
  • Develop reports for presentation and communications on benefits and pension initiatives.
  • Partner with HRIS and IT on benefit-related projects and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Maintain awareness of legislation, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
  • Proactively develop reports and analyses for review by HR and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • University degree or college diploma in Human Resources or a related field, with a professional designation such as CHRL or CEBS an asset.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR, with exposure to employee benefits programs implementation and administration.
  • Demonstrated passion for benefits administration and working knowledge of benefits regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, with demonstrated experience with relational databases.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, with a high level of customer service focus.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Employment Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Proven critical thinking skills and ability to build business cases to support initiatives.
