Job Title: Harvest Room Server Part Time

We are seeking a skilled and friendly server to join our team in the Harvest Room. As a server, you will be the ambassador of our exceptional service and cuisine, providing warm and personalized attention to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Assist guests with menu items in an informative and helpful manner
  • Sell and upsell menu and beverage items in a positive and professional way
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Adhere to the hotel's vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
Qualifications:
  • 1 year alacarte serving experience required in the last 2 years
  • Pro Serve certification required
  • Previous point of sale system experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Candidates must be legal to serve alcohol in Alberta (18 years of age) and must possess Pro Serve certification
