Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at JK Capital Management Inc.

Job Summary

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Prepare bids and proposals for construction projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure projects are completed on time
  • Manage own company and make decisions to ensure project success
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure project success
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure project completion
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction management
  • Civil engineering experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
