About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging technologist to join our team at Northern Health. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures and assisting radiologists during imaging sessions.

Job Description
  • Perform computer magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures and assist radiologists as needed;
  • Input patient-specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS);
  • Provide direction and guidance to student technologists and staff trainees;
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to promote a safe and effective care environment;
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging;
  • Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligibility for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT;
Competitive Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, a municipal pension plan, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
