Job Title: Greenhouse Worker

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Little Mountain Greenhouses Inc. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budding and pruning trees, shrubs, and plants to promote healthy growth and development
  • Cleaning and maintaining the greenhouse environment, including the removal of weeds and debris
  • Monitoring and controlling the climate and temperature within the greenhouse to ensure optimal growing conditions
  • Watering and fertilizing plants as needed to promote healthy growth and development
  • Assisting in the harvesting and preparation of crops for market
  • Performing other tasks as required to maintain the health and productivity of the greenhouse crops
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a greenhouse or horticultural setting an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The Greenhouse Worker will work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. The worker will be required to lift and move heavy objects, work in a physically demanding environment, and work in a team environment.

Language:

The language of work is English.
