Job Summary

GLENWOOD PIZZA & PASTA SHOP is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products and services in a timely manner.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Drive sales growth by maintaining excellent customer relationships, managing inventory levels, and implementing effective marketing strategies.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, kitchen helpers, and other support personnel to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, labor expenses, and other operational costs to maintain profitability.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all menu items meet quality standards and are prepared according to company recipes and procedures.
  • Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak periods and minimize labor costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
