About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team at Lake Country Co-op in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, preparing products to Co-op standards, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legendary service through various communication channels
  • Properly prepare products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records
  • Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department
  • Maintain and display all types of deli products according to department standards including hot meals and Salad bar
  • Cashier duties as required
  • Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow FIFO
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strives to be the best in the work that you do
  • Well-organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
  • Familiar with food safe procedures and practices
  • Ability to lift and load products, physical labour is required
  • POS experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
