**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions and processing payments.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked deli department, including restocking shelves, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste.
- Share product knowledge with customers, providing recommendations and suggestions to enhance their shopping experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail customer service experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
