Salary
The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $85,000 to $110,000 CAD, including the Remote Retention Allowance of up to $3,000 annually.

Job Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at AHS, you will be part of an interprofessional healthcare team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility with patients of all ages in the Acute Care, Emergency, or Combined Medical/Surgical department. Every day is different, offering unique rewards and challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Rural Acute Care setting or Emergency Department.
  • Certification in ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and completion of ENPEP modules or equivalent certifications.
