Job Title: Home Support Worker

Luisa is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home remains safe and comfortable.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, providing transportation and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care
