Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Carolyn Perea. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities, such as walking or exercise, to stimulate their minds and bodies.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Work Environment:
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Room and board provided.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Please note that this is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week.
