About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at K-VET PETCARE CANADA INC. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to animals undergoing treatment and surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians before, during, and after surgery, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
  • Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct laboratory research and provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals, promoting their recovery and well-being.
  • Provide wound and bandage care, as well as perform routine animal dental procedures, working closely with veterinarians to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide education and counseling on animal health care, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Perform a variety of office management and clerical duties, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: An asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work hours: 40 hours per week.
