Physician Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Associate to join our Palliative Medicine team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our palliative care services.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in patient rounds and assessments, working under the supervision of attending physicians and residents.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account patient goals and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex needs.
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two years of postgraduate training in a relevant specialty.
- Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- Proficiency in English language, as established by the CPSBC.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to create a positive and supportive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
