Key Responsibilities- Participate in patient rounds and assessments, working under the supervision of attending physicians and residents.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account patient goals and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex needs.
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum two years of postgraduate training in a relevant specialty.
- Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework.
- Professional/Technical Capabilities: diagnosing and managing common medical problems, recognizing and initiating response to emergency situations, and addressing initial priorities of patient management.
