Vascular Surgery Associate Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician to join our Vascular Surgery team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our vision of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in patient rounds and assessments, working collaboratively with the Vascular Attending and other care team members.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including writing medical orders and responding to changing patient conditions.
- Perform and document admission history and physical examinations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and medication reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
- Minimum of two years of accredited postgraduate training as a medical or surgical specialist.
- Successful completion of Part 1 of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) or Steps 1 through 3 of the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLEs).
- Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) in the Associate Physician class.
- Demonstrates leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework, including clear, caring, and courageous leadership.
- Professional/Technical Capabilities: Demonstrates knowledge and skills to diagnose and manage common medical problems, including expertise in vascular surgery, anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
