We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Property Manager to join our team in downtown Toronto. With a strong background in commercial real estate, you will play a vital role in managing tenant account receivables, engaging with tenants, and providing financial reporting support.

About the Role

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will assist the Property Manager in ensuring timely responses to tenant work order system requests, resolving escalations, and meeting client expectations.

  • Manage tenant onboarding, move-in/move-out processes, including new tenant welcome packages and restoration requirements.
  • Oversee accounts receivable administrators and accounts payable administrators' monthly reporting.
  • Prepare and present property reports and respond to client inquiries.
  • Contribute to annual operating and capital budget preparation, reforecasting, and project contract administration.
  • Maintain building programs, tenant engagement initiatives, sustainability, health and wellness, security, and life safety standards.
  • Support property insurance reporting and external parking services contracts.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Yardi, and functional knowledge of social media tools. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability are essential for this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Attributes
  • A post-secondary education in a related discipline.
  • Five years' experience in property management or commercial/retail real estate.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional client service orientation and adaptability.
