About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality and Operations Manager to join our team at Global Relay, a leader in enterprise information archiving. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in managing customer-facing teams to take on a leadership role and drive growth in our Data Services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and support Systems Analysts and Systems Leads to contribute to the growth of the Data Services department.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one sync-ups with direct reports and provide ongoing, timely feedback.
    • Determine annual goals and progression aspirations for direct reports.
  • Customer Service:
    • Monitor backend requests and workflow queues to ensure efficient case inquiry management.
    • Set and monitor performance metrics and correct skills/performance gaps.
    • Manage or resolve complex cases, escalations, customer complaints, or data incidents.
    • Liaise with customer teams to set service expectations.
  • Quality Control:
    • Manage quality control and information integrity for the team.
    • Review and improve existing processes and procedures.
    • Ensure all processes are documented according to corporate quality standards.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Education: Undergraduate degree required with relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in managing a customer-facing team in a dynamic industry, or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, technical knowledge, and proficiency related to customer data migrations.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 CAD per annum, depending on expertise, skills, education, and professional background.
