Public Health Resource Nurse Opportunity

Northern Health Authority is seeking a motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Public Health Resource Nurse. This role plays a crucial part in providing clinical advice, support, mentorship, and education to personnel responsible for delivering public health services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating public health support. They will also monitor, evaluate, and report on public health key indicators, coordinate local mass immunization clinics, respond to public health crises, and manage complex communicable diseases.

Requirements- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
- Two (2) years recent, related public health nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Current BCCDC Immunization Certification
- Current CPR certification at the basic life support level
- Class V Driver's License
The estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
