We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team at Wenson Support Services. As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to at-risk youth in a group home setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
- Assess client eligibility for specific services and develop personalized support plans
- Conduct social research to inform program development and evaluation
- Supervise activities of clients and implement behaviour management programs
- Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field
- Other trades certificate or diploma
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
