Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Lead to develop, train, lead, and manage the engineering department in setting up and maintaining manufacturing and recycling equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with the R&D team, assisting with various projects, manufacturing processes, facility improvements, or other initiatives required by the company.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive engineering excellence
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • P.Eng designation from Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proficient in English with excellent report writing skills
Experience and Related Skills
  • 3-5 years leadership/managerial experience
  • Engineering design experience
  • Programming experience
  • Manufacturing or related mechanical experience
  • Fabrication
  • Prototyping
  • Solidworks
  • MS Excel
  • Programming language (at least one of the following): Python, Java, MATLAB, C, C++, C#, PLC
Compensation Package
  • $100,000 to $115,000 CAD per annum
